I read this book in almost one sitting. It’s so utterly French and being a wanna-be Francophile, I adored it. So many beautiful sentences in this book with more depth than first seems. I found myself relating to the character with her angst about how money might change her life, but not for the better. If you like the movie Amelie, or the book The elegance of the hedgehog, you’ll love this. I’m suffering a book hangover now I’ve finished it.
